Important Notice

It’s come to our attention that scammers are impersonating our business identity.

If you have been contacted by someone offering you a job working from home as an ‘App Store Optimizer’, then beware – you are probably being targeted by scammers.

It’s important to note that while we do legitimately recruit people for our agency in other roles, there are some important distinctions that you must be aware of.

Here’s how you can tell if you are being scammed:

  • You are being asked to rate apps or optimize apps or obtain data traffic as an “App Store Optimizer” or “ASO Operator” or “Data Booster” or “Data Generation User”, completing “App Tasks” (we do not rate apps).
  • You have been given jobs to do in a “Workbench Application” or the “Work Platform” or the “ASO System”.
  • You’ve been offered a job working 1 hour per day or 30-60 minutes per day completing 3 tasks per day or 40 tasks per day (we do not hire people on this basis).
  • You’ve been told it takes 20 minutes to complete each set of app ratings.
  • You have been asked to login in via a website that does not exactly match www.livingonline.com.au
  • You have been sent a special code or invitation code to login to this website.
  • The website you’ve signed up to gives you the ability to “Start Mission” and you can see your “Daily Profit” and “Asset Balance” and “Current Membership Level”.
  • You signed up to some websites/apps looking for part time workers and you have been contacted by someone out of the blue offering you a job as described above.
  • You have been added to a WhatsApp group where other people are posting screenshots of their “earnings”.
  • You have asked to complete “training” and have been told that after training you will receive a “training commission”.
  • You are being asked to deposit money into an account to unlock tasks or missions (we would NEVER ask someone to deposit money into an account to earn money from us).
  • You’re being asked to pay money to complete more tasks before you can release your commission (again we would NEVER ask someone to pay money as part of any job that we offer).
  • You have a negative balance in your account and are being asked to pay money before you can withdraw your money.
  • You’ve been told that the system “automatically moved on to optimizing the second app” before your commission was paid, resulting in your account becoming negative, and that you need to “recharge” your account to continue.
  • You’ve been told you can receive payment in Cryptocurrency, or via a Crypto Wallet, or via PayPal, or via your debit card.
  • You’ve been sent a link to our real website, our CEOs name, and our address to try to convince you that they are us.

If you have been offered a job in this fashion then we strongly recommend that you do not engage further, block and report the number, and report the scam to your local authorities.

If you’re in the unfortunate situation of falling victim to the scam already, then we recommend that you get in touch with your financial institution to try to recover the money. These types of scams are extremely common, so please know that you are not alone in this situation.

If you have been contacted by scammers as described above, then please also help us stop this scam by emailing us via admin@livingonline.com.au or calling us via +61 8 9388 8778 to describe your experience.

If you need more information, or are unsure if you’re dealing with a scam, then please call our office on +61 8 9388 8778 for more information. Please note that we’re located in Perth, Western Australia, so our office is open during Australian Western Standard Time business hours.

Thank you.
