AC&E Awards 2019 Finalist

Each year, the ADMA Creativity & Effectiveness Awards (AC&Es) are held in Australia, recognising the top digital marketing agencies, companies, and individuals nation-wide who have perfectly combined creativity and strategy to deliver highly effective campaigns. With some of the world’s top brands nominated as finalists, 2019 has seen Living Online named among these in not 1, but 2 award categories.

AC&E Awards 2019

ADMA, or the Association for Data-Driven Marketing and Advertising, is Australia’s leading and most authoritative industry body for effective and creative data-driven marketing solutions, and as such, its annual AC&E Awards is arguably the country’s most prestigious.

The shortlist for this year’s award categories is impressive, with brand giants such as Hungry Jack’s, KFC, Telstra, AAMI, American Express, Lexus Australia, Deakin University, Michelle Bridges 12WBT, ALDI Australia, and ANZ Bank all nominated for the marketing campaigns carried out for them over the past 12 months.

Listed among these is Living Online and the work we’ve done for The Push-Up Challenge, a national movement aimed at raising awareness of, and funds for, mental health in Australia. As a result of the strategy and creativity behind this campaign, we’ve been listed among the country’s best for the AC&E Award categories of Best Acquisition Strategy and Best Use of Social Media Platforms.

Finalists in 2 categories

The category “Best Acquisition Strategy” recognises the campaigns that have been specifically created to generate new customers through “the creative and strategic use of data and insights delivering measurable results”, and recognises the different channels and strategies we used to generate awareness and encourage registrations for this year’s The Push-Up Challenge event.

The second category we were nominated for, “Best Use of Social Media Platforms”, focuses specifically on our social media strategy we implemented together with The Push-Up Challenge founder Nick Hudson, which performed extremely well in terms of first encouraging sign-ups, then enthusiasm throughout the challenge, while raising much-needed funds to go towards mental health support in Australia.

The Push-Up Challenge and Living Online

As mentioned, The Push-Up Challenge is a once-a-year fundraising event aimed to raise awareness of, and funds for, mental health across the country. Over 21 days, participants were encouraged to complete over 3,000 push-ups, either as individuals or in teams, motivated along the way by Nick and the team from The Push-Up Challenge.

We are incredibly humbled to have been nominated for two AC&E Awards, and are thrilled that the hard work, expertise and dedication of our team at Living Online are recognised again at a national level.
